In 2003, over 50 local organisations - shops, pubs, businesses, clubs, churches and church groups, schools,
children's groups etc were provided with a 12" square of cloth and asked to embroider or otherwise decorate it.
Beth Shutt, who organised the project, sewed the squares together,
and made the frame with the figures to represent the people of Send.
The result is this impressive Community Collage, which remains on display in St Mary's church.
