2008 Flower Festival

27 - 29 June 2008 Theme "Seasons"

This arrangement by Tony & Beth Shutt represents the liturgical colours red, white, purple and green which are used for altar frontals at different seasons of the church year. As well as the stoles, and the coloured flowers, the display also includes a bottle of Communion wine, and a cylindrical pack of Communion wafers.

Send Parish Council's arrangement was themed on Eastertide, and includes an Easter bonnet made of flowers, a hot cross bun, Easter eggs, Easter cards and of course the cross - the universal symbol of Christianity which reminds us of the death and resurrection of Jesus.

This display by the bell ringers depicts "Bonfire Night" the circular arrangement on the top shows a Catherine Wheel, and the lower arrangement shows rockets soaring into the night sky.

A colourful display representing all four seasons was entered by St Nicholas Church, Pyrford decorated the archway separating the nave from the chancel
